Able Hawkesbury River Houseboats are moored a short drive on the north western outskirts of Sydney at the historic town of Wiseman's Ferry. It's easy to cruise along and explore the river as it winds its way upstream to Windsor and downstream to places like Brooklyn and Berowra Waters.

There are eight different styles of houseboats in the fleet, ranging from the budget four berth houseboats, right up to the large 12 berth houseboats.

Surrounded by Australia's natural beauty, the Hawkesbury is a sheltered and easy cruising waterway which is perfect for a family getaway or weekend refresher.

Twelve Berth Island Penthouse

Perfect for families and friends. They have the maximum in privacy, space and comfort. Spacious forward entertainment areas and a huge upper deck with shade cover are especially desighned for your enjoyment of the spectacular outside surroundings.

Super Ten Berth

For those who like the best of both worlds' having the style of a cruiser, with the space and comfort of a houseboat. Twin motors, stylish interior design and large front deck entertainment area. For a boat of this size, there is still room for privacy while lending itself to an open interior plan. Large kitchen area (four burner, oven and grill), barbecue outside, instant hot water, fridge and large ice boxes.

Eight Berth Island Penthouse

Similar to the 12 berth only a little shorter; has two large double rooms (permanent double beds) two lounges convert for eight person accommodation. Perfect for families or a group of friends. They have the maximum in privacy, space and comfort. Spacious forward entertainment areas and a huge upper deck with shade cover are especially designed for your enjoyment of the spectacular outside surroundings.

ultimate spa houseboat

Newer style of larger houseboats that accommodate up to 10 people. Facilities include heated 10 person spa, barbecue, indoor lounge with split sound system and plasma television, microwave, oven and household fridge.

Able Four Berth Houseboat

A small houseboat that's a good basic way to enjoy the Hawkesbury. They are very easy to drive and handle and are ideal for two people or a small family stay on the water. Facilities include: instant gas hot water and shower, television, radio/ CD player, gas cooker and barbecue, two lounges both convert to double berths. A dinghy is supplied with each houseboat.

Day Boats

Did you know that Able Hawkesbury River Houseboats hire Day Boats? This is a great school holiday activity - bring the kids to Wisemans Ferry for a fishing adventure or a river picnic. This is a great way to explore the Hawkesbury Rivers narrower streams/waterways, get to the best fishing spots or just enjoy the views. Day boat hire includes fuel. Boat license not required. Operation instruction and life jackets provided.
