Ossian Hall Valley Retreat offers luxury, self-contained accommodation on the banks of the Colo River in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney. Located only 25 minutes north of Windsor and 80 minutes from the Sydney central business district, the 86 acre 'adult's only' retreat provides an ideal weekend escape.

Ossian Hall features three uniquely designed hexagonal cottages nestled into the hillside and the natural bush-land setting exudes a feeling of living in a 'tree house'.

Each unique and individually designed cottage is superbly appointed with quality inclusions: log fires, spa baths and comfortable queen size beds. A sumptuous breakfast basket with home baked bread is prepared for you and delivered to your cottage.

The property dates back to the first fleet and was originally given as a government grant in 1818 by Governor Macquarie to Andrew McDougall, one of the first free settlers to arrive on the SS Barwell in 1798.

Blue Wren Cottage

The Blue Wren Cottage is located on the side of a hill overlooking the valley with its' own private courtyard set in the bush. Enjoy your own two-person spa bath, which you may relax in, perhaps sipping a glass of champagne. Soak away the worries and leave the stress behind. Of an evening or on a winter's day sit by the log fire, there is nothing more romantic, reflect or just catch up on that book you have not had the time to read. Your cottage is fully self-contained with quality inclusions including air-conditioning, Digital/HD television, DVD, CD/stereo. Fluffy robes, slippers and quality toiletries are provided for your comfort . Bird book and binoculars provided as is picnic rug and thermos for days out.

Lyrebird Lodge

If you have ever wanted to live in a tree-house, then Lyre Bird Lodge is the place to be. Set amongst the trees overlooking the valley, this cottage features a beautiful bathroom with two-person spa bath, in which you may relax under the influence of fragrant lavender aromatherapy. Then curl up in front of the log fire with a glass of port and toast the marshmallows. Your cottage is fully self-contained with quality inclusions including air-conditioning, Digital /HD television, DVD, CD/stereo. The Bower

The beautiful décor of The Bower has a splendid location enhancing romance for the perfect wedding night or for that really special occasion. Positioned on the edge of the bush you view nothing but trees, magnificent rock formations and the sounds of the birds. Satin sheets to slip between, Champagne to sip, music to soothe, the fragrance of the aromatherapy, what more could you need. The design is a wonderful blend of Blue Wren with its courtyard, and the tree house affect of Lyre Bird, with its own private gas barbecue, log fire, spa. DVD,Digital/HD television, CD stereo and of course is fully air-conditioned. The Bower has been designed and positioned for the perfect Honeymoon with total privacy but so close to Sydney.
